Will this be okay?

I just realised that the processor i have at the moment is litterally the same as the one im getting apart from it doesnt have the intel stuff so if i get my new graphics card and power supply with this cpu will i still be able to play games on max?

What i was getting:
Intel i5 4670k
G43 MOBO
600w Power supply
GTX 780

What i could do if i keep my current processor:
AMD A8 5500 CPU
(Whatever motherboard that comes with)
600w Power supply
GTX 780

So yeah, Would i still be able to play games on max if i kept the A8 5500 Because its clock speed it 3.2ghz and its a quad core and the intel has a clock speed of 3.4 ghz and thats a quad core as well.

well the a8 5500 isnt a bad processor ,still its not a fit for a 780
i would go for 8350-the 8 cores will help you to make some video editing (if you do any)and lets say BF4 takes advantage of more cores.
and the higher clock speed isnt bad either.
its way faster and 30$ cheaper,maybe now you would prefer it
you can also go 8320 which is another 40$ cheaper,but i dont think you should miss out from the 8350 performance

I'd personally go for the 4670k, but the 8350 is an equally reasonable choice.
If you're doing encoding and video rendering, go for the 4670k.
