It gets a lot of shit because it focuses more on the "behind the scenes" part of the game world. If they just went from the viewpoint of some random guy in a fighter guild it would be no different then any other MMO style show.

I don't think so. I liked how they had themselves make the food and re-invent stuff. But it turned too soon into a political genre of anime. They had to participate meetings and negotiate with people of the land. It's no fun watching Shiroe sitting in meetings

Although i feel like that was needed, i agree that dragged that on for way too long. I can see them going more into the actual fighting and stuff in a S2 if it ever comes. The whole situation going on in the West calls for a S2 i think.
