Does this ban carry over?

If I share Garrysmod with an account, and that child account gets banned with all the other accounts that use bypasses once every year, will my main account that had shared Garrysmod get banned too?

I believe that a VAC ban will carry over, but a GAC ban is only on that account and doesn't move over to the main account.

Well considering I've never even heard of VAC banning somebody from hacking on Garry'smod, because as I have heart, VAC is just used as a blacklist for Garry'smod and is not actually banning.
So I guess I can use bypassers on my other accounts and not get banned on my main

You have to be kidding me right? If you use blacklisted hacks such as Sethack or BaconBot, you will get VAC and GAC banned.

Really? That's strange, I have a friend who used sethhack when it got detected, but he only got GAC banned and I continue to play CSS with him on the same account. He's VAC ban free. Strange.

From what i still remember, Garry's Mod doesn't use the same engine as CSS and games like tf2 n shit and wont cause a "steam" wide ban.

First of all, Garry'smod DOES run off the source engine, but it is slightly modified. And the engine of the game doesn't have ANYTHING to do with a ban, but Garry'smod is "secured" by VAC, so if you are VAC banned, you will be banned on ALL games that are secured by VAC, which is includes all, but not limited to, Valves games(such as css, tf2). VAC literally stands for Valve Anti-Cheat.

False. It bans you on every game running the exact same version of the exact same engine. TF2, CS:S and HL2 are all connected in terms of bans. Im VAC'd on mw3 and not banned on anything else.
