Turbo W/Without Conic Air filter

Mini time off college, made this in 1h roughly

Made with conic filter with extention (the fiter isnt well made I admit, its obvious)
And made with no filter

2. By purpose, you mean i) the purpose of the filter, ii) or the purpose of the turbo, or iii) the purpose of I modelled it?

If:

i) A particulate air filter is a device composed of fibrous materials which removes solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteriafrom the air. A chemical air filter consists of an absorbent or catalyst for the removal of airborne molecular contaminants such as volatile organic compounds or ozone. Air filters are used in applications where air quality is important, notably in building ventilation systems and in engines. Source: Wikipedia (too lazy to write it on my own XD)

ii) Basically the air comes through the fan inside turbo and goes to the compressor which makes the engine get more air into the combustion chamber, making bigger ignitions, and consequentially the car goes faster. Well you know what a turbo is either way.

iii) This is probably what you meant to ask so I tell you; I can use this model to put in a car ingames, modifying it, to make more realistic. This was an exercise, since I reinstalled again Cinema 4D and it's been a while since I last modeled. I still have a bit to go, the lighting settings need work as you can see, shadow as well. The compressor is behind the fans so it's hard to show all in a pic.
I used to model before, and there were many more people here like @Lonesome Cowboy and others who knew some stuff aswell. But they either left MPGH or they died. /joke

Its actually pretty fun even though it's basically useless those models, except for animation.

Seeing your models actually makes me miss doing game models. I don't know, if I have the time I'll find a torrent of C4D and might pick it up again a little bit.

Only thing I can really say is to work on the texturing of your models, and shadowing. Both seem to be a little off in some areas. Other than that, I like it.
