Hey, i recived some mails from GM's on my Z8Forum account cuz i posted some SOLUTIONS how to PATCH the MPGH VIP and Public =)

Thanks for the heads up, but we have to wait for improvements from the developers before we can even think about implementing half those ideas.

We are working hard against the hackers. One of the reasons there are a lot of them right now is because we haven't patched the game in a very long time. That will be changing very soon. We will continue to patch the game for both new content and anti-hack measures. And hopefully that will help until we can get improvements to things like, replays, spectator mode etc.

The servers are down for the moment while we run maintenance and patch the game.

Patch notes will be posted very soon.

When the servers come back up however a lot of people are going to be trying to update the game at the exact same time. This may cause errors for your downloads or installs.

The most likely error you may get is one that will look like "File has been changed or forged....".

This is 99.9% likely caused by the traffic on the servers and a botched install/patch between your computer and our server. DO NOT PANIC. This does not mean your cross fire is dead forever.

It likely means that you need to wait a little while to let the bulk of people get patched up so that you can get in when the traffic is less and update your game.

Please do not come here and post in multiple threads with your issue. Please keep similar issues to similar threads. Most of the errors caused by updating the game are due to traffic. And remember, your best bet when encountering an install error with CF is to completely uninstall the version of CF on your system and re-download the game from a new mirror and install it again.
