Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Review. (No spoilers)

First of all, I want to say that I really recommend this anime for anyone who loves horror, mystery, drama, and psychological anime! It has a great story that makes you think, "Who's next?" For me, it's one of the best animes I've ever watched.
*This next part includes story parts, which may be considered as a spoiler.*

Basically, the story is about these group of friends who are involved with a curse called the Oyashiro-sama curse, where if you try to leave the town, Hinamizawa, you are cursed with a syndrome that gives you the urge to kill/gives hallucinations on people trying to kill you.

The story has arcs in the length of 4-5 episodes. Season 1 has 24 episodes, so about 6 arcs. There is a second season, and I recommend that you watch that, too. You can watch the third or fourth season, but they really aren't neccessary, as the story has ended in the second season. As you can see, this account is based on one of the characters in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni! So you can find a link to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni in my 'About Me' section.

Yeah i enjoyed it a lot, i started rhis with the manga, read a friends boom (1st volume) and got insta hooked

That's pretty much higurashi in a nutshell. It's a bit overrated tbh.

Idk. I enjoyed watching every season except 3 and 4. I thought it wasn't necessary and was made just to stop fans from crying and to earn more money. My opinion. c;

LawL. It's a very good anime.
I recommend anyone who is interested in horror, drama, and dark psychologic to watch the series. Not even 5 episodes in, and your mind has been blown over 8 times!
And in season 2, last arc,

shit gets real intense. Makes you want to savor the episodes, but keep watching!
