Ye I have League on my External HD and I've never cleaned It. Aaand I've played the game for 2 years using that Harddrive :P

Archives means files or documents that are important to use, but since these archives are empty, so are never gonna be used, just makes harder for other files to be found and used, in this case LoL Cleaner deletes them, so your league of legends will process faster. I don't know if you can understand me :P simply Empty/clean Archives are useless.!

actually this makes your hard drive work better, so files are found quicker and loaded quicker than before.

Seems to have made my client use more of my CPU. I don't know why this is but it made my client much slower.

Have reversed the process and it is back to normal.

Any ideas why this has occured?

I don't know why, it's my first time i hear something like this, there is not a reason to make your cpu getting used by the tool when the scan/deletion has finished.
Anyway if you have problems you can contact "Surfaces" in BOL forum, he can probably help you.

i have never tried before, probably should work, the tool just detects the file in main league of legends folder, the same should happen in garena lol folder because there is not any change both clients use same files, just different launchers
