This was my first attempt at an Anime signature and I am fairly happy with the results.

Is it just me or the renders are annoyingly blurred?

They are blurred so they do not come out to be the center point.. The faces are supposed to be the most important part.

Smoothness is not your thing. (not that im really much better but)
What I mean is that when you make a focal (the point that stands out from the image) you must make it smooth, like a gradient.
Hmm today Im not really doing fine with words, if you dont follow me I will try again tomorrow.

Except parts of the faces are blurred. Also unrealistic blurring is a bad way to force focal points.
