Hi , so some days ago i bought black ops 2 ru version from an russian cdkey shop and i reedemed , when clicked install its says region locked or something like that , so i have some questions about that !!
1.Can i play it somehow without vpn ?
2.Can i get disabled acc using VPN to play it ?
3.Can steam remove it from my libary ?

Somebody says that if people use vpn to play black ops 2 ru they got disabled acc , but somebody says that cant get disabled acc !!! SO its on my own risk , right ?

Point 1: Google for "vpngate" use their recomendet client to get free vpn server up to date in the client, or use your client (like openVPN) and add it manualy. When you'r online close vpn and play in normal way. Sometime will pop up "you need to be online..." or something like that, click to reconnect "online play" few time untill you will connected again. Sometime you will disconnected again and again. Changing vpn will help to find "open nat type" and use "UDP" connection to get low ping (try high port like "63450"). Second option backup BO2 folder and use "redacted" client, like always google will help you.
Point 2: No steam will not disable in any way your account for using vpn.
Point 3: You can remove it manualy by using "steam console" by adding "-dev". Make link to desktop, property, remove lnk and add -dev. Write "find" on console for a cmd list. Anyway it will ever associated with your account and you can reenable later.
