Invalid Email when verifying old mule accounts

I have some old mules from before you needed a valid email address. I get the prompt to send a verification email and I change the email to a valid email. However it says that the email is invalid. Everything I've read says all I have to do is change the old email to a new valid email. Which is simple enough. But nothing explains how to fix it when it says the email address is invalid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What Email Service are you using for the valid emails?

Playing from rotmg.com and I've used several new yahoo emails. I might go make a hotmail account and give that a shot.

They have removed the +1 trick afaik.

Hello. I am getting the same error: "Invalid email" when I am trying to create a new account. Must be something om their end? Or we're banned but I dont know. I have tried with outlook dots com/outlook dots dk/hotmail dots com

Seems the error was temporary. I managed to verify the exact same emails that I tried a few days ago with no problem at all. So it is still possible to verify old mules! Thanks for trying to help.
