Most of the time the files are completely safe. Typically if you don't have to bypass 3 ******s, click on loads of fucked up links and subscribe to some bullshit newsletter - it's fine.
Be careful still though - some guy who has one of the most popular Le Bot videos on YouTube put a link to the mac version in the description, which was definitely not the mac version... I think I made him fix it though.
