Some of you really have a very vague idea of the time and dedication it takes to even make a simple program. There is so much more going on behind your eyes that none of you know about, and even fewer of you want to know let alone can comprehend what it means.
I have no idea how you would exactly go about it, but here is the best description I can give:
You need to understand DX9 (DirectX is an SDK of C++, so you need to know C++ too)
Then there's two ways to go about it. Either you would create your own scope function or you would use the one the game already has. ( I would use the one already provided)
If that were the case you will have to find the value that activates the scope. If this is too difficult another way would be to find the Stride of the scope and then implement that stride into your d3d9 hack.
Oh and ofcourse you have to learn how to compile your project into a .dll, which might take some more time to learn. Luckily azorbix has a source out for a stride logger so once you do learn all this stuff it might take a week or so, but that all depends on how the game is coded or what approach to take. Sometimes changing your approach can save you weeks of time.
It's really not that hard. I would say coding is a mix between math and english. You have to learn a lot of different formulas and stuff, but at the same time your personal experience and practice can improve your style and efficiency.
And don't be scared off. A lot of people get freaked out when they see a 500-1000 page book. This is because they have a bad understanding of numbers. Say you read a 20 pages a day (which isn't all that much) you will get through a 500 page book in 25 days. or a 1000 page book in 50 days. That's about what 1-2 months which doesn't seem long at all. Just take it in stride.
