When I get bored I make stuff, when I make stuff it's usually stuff I like.. Idk how these turned out though; as I've been in a slump of increasing predictability, or stagnation; and this is the result of it;

Getting familiar with the tools of your program of choice (PhotoshopCS6 for me) filters and adjustments (depending on program these may vary drastically or minutely)

The first one is flawled by the render's quality (especially face and hand), the blur and the random text.
Too many effects added on top of everything.

The second one is much better, however...
Too many filters, that poor guy became you-know-who.
The text quality is simply bad and there's no place to rest my eyes on, unlike the first one.
Lastly, the added blur of some of those black fragments should be removed ( especially the two at the bottom, under his shoulder).

Overall, they're fine. I like what you did with the knife he's holding on the second pic.
