I'm using windows 8 as well and its working. It worked the very first time tried it. I don't know why everyone is complaining.

Use Winject its the best... remember to wait til the lobby to inject. A question, the D3D menu can't be sended to the GMs when we get reported?

have if I understand this trick only works with windows vista, 7 and 8 nothing but bone for windows xp not? understand or bad?

To make this hack work (for me) I used combined with the R3DDOT hack.
First start the R3DDOT hack, start the game, start the Winject, select the AVA.exe and the Ava hook.dll, click inject and after the beep, the transparent menu will appear in the left up corner.
Insert key will hide the menu, to navigate, use the button arrows, down or up, right to turn on and left to turn off.
I´m using windows 7x64
