Saving vynils from one car and putting them on another?

i have a problem where after i take a saved vynil(such as from my team escape dodge viper) and put it on another car, i can see it, but when i exit the vynil menu the game freezes. Is there some proper way to do this? am i just an idiot for missing something?

Tip1:
Probably that vinyl cannot be apply,because is has special layers.
You must use only design made from stock vinyls(vinyl layers which all players had them).

I had the same problem!
Here is what i did:
Start Vinyl Artist at Free Roam and then enter safe house
Go to Vinyls
Remove one Vinyl and replace it with NFS icon as red color (remove if u got 31vinyls)
Use the arrow to drag it all the way down so it will be the buttom of the vinyls list
save it after and open shop again
click on set
close and open shop
click save and pick name and such
then save and open the vinyl shop again
remove the nfs icon and add back your older vinyl before changing it
Save and open vinyl shop again
Then save the vinyl file and fill the information.

Then add a vinyl properly to the other car just like the tutorial.

If it doesn't work then i'm sorry, its just what fixed my issue with the freezing
