I can't jump at all?

While I am playing in game I am able to do everything but JUMP. It's getting really annoying I don't know what the problem is I tried re-installing the game and got the same results. Could someone help me out please? thanks.

First of all you need to press Option and then Control. Then press spacebar and your own spacebar. The game is option to have an American keyboard. So it is a american spacebar. Tell me if it works.

Change the toggle key of space in the options (just remove it and put it back on) should work just fine but it may not be a permanent solution.
