GTX 980 - nVIDIA's new Series 900 line

So I am going to get an awesome gaming pc. First I looked upon the GTX 780 Ti SC but I see that a few days ago the GTX 980 has been released. How is it $100 cheaper and produces around 10 FPS more.

nVIDIA is either doing that to keep its lead over the market on AMD or maybe to make space for the GTX 980 ti? I need some GFX Card Techies to discuss abit with me .

Should I get the GTX 980 for $650 or wait for 980 Ti?

if you should wait unless you have a very good reason to buy it now

i would buy a very expensive computer if i had money, but as i dont have, i have to conform with a 770 or something similar xD

I was asking myself the same question 780ti or just wait for 980ti meanwhile I'll have to keep using 750ti I need that upgrade soon lol.

Well the 780ti has almost 800 cuda cores more than the 980 so that a plus lol

But 980 is faster and $150 cheaper. And 1 GB more vRAM and a bunch of stuff :P

Yea that's true but I feel like I should just wait for the 980ti and just use my 750ti meanwhile it releases.
