So I put my AMD card onto my motherboard with the fan on top of it. Plugged the fan into the motherboard. Then I installed the RAM card and the Video card. Unboxed my power supply and there was just a SHIT TON of wires. So I connected the 24 pin thing to the motherboard and one of the 8 pins to the motherboard. Then I looked around the motherboard to figure out where the other 8 pin thing goes, but there's no other place on the motherboard. Then I heard I needed to connect a PCI-E cord from the power supply to the Video card so I did that. Now my power supply has a random 8 pin wire(s) thats a part of the giant bundle of wires that I assume need to be connected to something and a few more PCI cables and some SATA, Floppy, and Peripheral cables that I don't know how to use. (I believe I only need to use one PCI cable for the Video card, there was a 8 pin and 6 pin slot on the top of the video card (GTX 760) and all of my PCI cables are 6+2 pin so I used one for the 8 pin slot, not sure if I'm suppose to use a 6+2 pin on a 6 pin slot since there would be an extra 2 on the side that lead to nowhere.) If anyone is actually serious about helping, I could actually take photos of this sloppy pile of trash I have assembled and link the build/parts I used.
