Studies prove that the american educational system is lacking in a few places...

Anyway, Sweden and Japan has been written in as the countires with the highest education... I know that a lot of people from around the world fly to Sweden and Japan to advance their education that they got from their native country.

It's very simple to clarity that statement...

Don't learn programming from any school in america, india, china, russia, denmark, norway, finland, africa, turkey and just about any other country that isn't Japan or Sweden... It's the only 2 confirmed countries with proper programming education.

Watch a youtube series on the bare basics of the language.
Then, come up with an idea for a project.
Then, make the project using as much googling as you need.
Repeat

Very soon you with become proficient, each iteration helps you learn new things and forces yourself to learn and overcome things you don't know how to tackle.

I would personally say, you just have to try things your self, like we all started somewhere, we didn't know what to do and how to do it, day by day passed and now most of us are here, where we can code simple stuff, items, monsters, some simple client editing, make a backup of your server, and mess around with the code, I doubt learning from tutorials will help you because none of the Visual Studio good tutorials would be referred to a RotMG Private Server section, just go into player.cs and mess around, go ahead and make yourself an unique behaviour, a one that none server had before, just try things out, atleast that's what I did, and I'm quite glad I did.
