It's a weird way to put it. I don't want to sound like a Hipster, but most mainstream shows upset me. Like Empire said, It's because everything else gets overshadowed. It's frustrating. I for one was enjoying AoT for a while. I started to get towards the end and then realized what was wrong. I can't say you're WRONG for liking an Anime, I just don't like the whole "best thing ever!@XDDDD" that I usually get from people who say that, and then they ignore the rest of the season.

i guess attack on titan wasn't the best way to start off watching anime as it is more recent than others and there will be ones better than aot by far,
i still thought aot was pretty sick though in my opinion and i got pretty attached quickly.

i'd recomend it to someone new to anime and then get them to watch a better one ;p

the thing is everyone has diffirent opinions (obviously)

I think the best part about AoT is that you can now appreciate great anime.

Start from the bottom, getting to the top is that much better.
