Can we finish the main quest without upgrade?

Can i kill all 13 lord of chaos without upgrade or finish actually the main quest ? , I really like the way Artix studios make the story line quest

It's possible(I assume you have necro),but it might be hard to solo. I remember I had a REALLY hard time with Wolf Wing, and Khassanda until I did it with a party.
