What is a cfg?

It's a list of console commands that you're too lazy to enter in game, and edits things from weapon viewmodels to crosshair variance.

I'm assuming this is all still for CSGO, right? If you do get an FPS boost it will be slight. Make sure to unpark all your cores and if you want to add some launch options, these are mine:

-novid -threads 6 -freq 144 -no3d9ex -high -nojoy

-novid stops the intro video from playing and takes you right to the game
-threads 6 tells the game to utilize all 6 of the cores in my processor (AMD FX-6300)
-freq 144 is because I have a 144 hz monitor (don't use this one unless you do too)
-no3d9ex tells the game not to use a certain .dll file that will cause fps drops
-high gives the game high priority, thus allocating more resources to the game
-nojoy tells the game to disregard joysticks/gamepads, thus loading less files

I also play on 4:3, 1024x768 blackbars with everything on low except for Global Shadow Quality. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me
