note:
when looking for the gun's name in the vft file, the guns name is the name of the texture you opened example, ak-47 =ak47 and dual Berettas = m9a1.

for guns you should only have to edit two lines, knives may have more,
the lines should look like: $baseTexture "models\weapons\v_models\pist_deagl**e\pist_de agle

(or):

$baseTexture "models\weapons\w_models\w_pist_dea**gle\pist_Deag le"

DO NOT EDIT ONES THAT LOOK LIKE:
$baseTexture models\weapons\customization\..."
(OR
"$basetexture" "models\weapons\v_models\knife_t\gg**\..."
