Failed to connect to server

Hi there, I have been trying to connect to crossfire since this morning and I have not been successful. Everytime I launch the game this is what happens: The game opens to the log in screen for a split second only to have the Failed to connect to server window pop up. Also here is a list of things I've already tried:

Reset router
Restart PC
Opening CF ports
Reinstalling CF
Deleting Z8Games folder and reinstalling CF
Turning firewall off(Mine is always off)
Running launcher as Admin
Setting all CF programs to run as Admin
Closing all other programs while starting CF


I am very confused now as to why my game is doing this. If you can help at all, it would be appreciated.
