I just want to give my 2c on this because this is a misconception:

If the section is fine, everything is in order, but Raple isn't contributing much, it's hard to say he should be demoted for that from YOUR perspective. Norman could be a sniper, some minions are and will snatch things up pretty fast. If the section is suffering because Raple isn't approving stuff or Norman is tired of carrying the load all himself (but that's a staff related issue), that's a completely different story.

I don't think it's fair to evaluate the conditions of a staff unless the section itself is suffering, while it should play a factor, it's more of the administration's call if a staff member overall isn't doing their job. I don't think it's fair to say that Raple needs to match Norman's activity, then you have staff members trying to actively forced moderation just to be more active, and members start complaining that their post was deleted for no reason because a staff member is trying to force activity instead of just keeping the section tidy.

OT: I'm not in the mc section anymore, as i only play it like once a day. But, i think if Raple was not doing his job in the mc section, he would already be demoted? I see Normen does great in that section and if Raple didn't moderate, I think Normen could take that section by himself. From the time I left, it seems the section has died a bit, so not much modding will have to be put into it as bigger sections. Not really sure how Raple mods in other sections, but he must be doing his job as he is still a mod.
