Using status on forum to take advantage of new members

Hello,

Recently I was scammed by a member of this community who had anti-scam tag and is said to be a mod for one of the forums. Since I thought his status meant something in this community, I didn't think twice about using a middleman.

Since I am not allowed to post links, just click on my profile and you will see message left by one Marcisback.

Now, getting scammed is on me, but if someone, who's supposed to be trustworthy based on forum's credentials, can just use that to scam new members, what is the point of ANTI-SCAM tag on their profile?

Its a custom tag made by users. It's not official. You should always use a middleman regardless.

Can you provide proof that he scammed you?

I mean, if you google: "skype austingetsbabes" , there's another forum, in which he was banned.

I was just talking to him on skype. I baited him into a long conversation where he said he had a staff position of sorts and had permission to delete threads etc.

I have a screenshot of him claiming to be a middleman. I am not sure of the implications of middleman impersonation. I think it's obvious he is trying to scam though. Take some immediate action as he's posted to a new member's thread and will likely trick other's into thinking he is staff to scam.

It's clear he's misleading users and trying to scam them.
He's also banned in other forums.

He'll be permanently banned
