OR Pascal, sure AMD will get the jump with the Stacked DRAM tech or HBM ( High Bandwidth Memory ) as they're calling it or as NVIDIA is calling it 3D Memory, but I belive that extra year of refinement will do them good.

No thanks, Nvidia. After the 970 fiasco I returned it in favor of the 290X. I'm holding out for the 390X with HBM.

I mean, jumping from a 970 to a 980 Ti for an extra 5-10 FPS is not worth it seeing the 250$ difference between them, R9 390X will probably be cheaper and better ( drivers still suck tho )

I assumed that's what you meant anyway, just added that tid bit on the end Also saw a rumour that they were aiming for a premium price tag for the 390X because of the Stacked DRAM (HBM) but being AMD they will probably find a way to be super competitive.

If they would just fix that heating issue + their awful drivers, pretty sure nobody would get Nvidia anymore ( except fanboys, of course )

True in most aspects, also just read that the 390X won't have HBM because it's based on an Enhanced Hawaii chip and only their Titan grade card (Nicknamed 'Fury') will, which will be an interesting move to say the least.
