If you made walls transparent, how would you maneuver?
I dont' know anything about it, I'm just wondering if it would be possible to make hacks out of these. I'm sure you could make walls transparent and such, but could you make smoke transparent and flashes do nothing? What point do things become server sided?

its all server sided, no one else in game can see your wepaon skins, remocing smoke and flash prob wont be able to do, cause the game will have a spaz if u delete the smoke effect
the only way to make "hack" per-say is to make the player textures 1 color.. a bright color.. then find a working wall hack.. and then u have "chams"
and if u made walls to say 60% transparency you will still be ale to see were you are goin, but you will be able to see people aswell
you cannot make walls transparent with this.
you would have to make the .ltb 3d models transparent somehow.
if you made the .dtx files have transparency, it would just show through to the gray, texture free part of the wall.
but it would be possible to edit specific things, like smoke or fog effects.

i wonder if we edited the wall models... if we could remove the grey that they put in....
and i wanna have a look at taking away that fucking death barrier they put in all the glitch spots.. would be so awesome to remove that

Yeah, I guess so. But if you were to shring the mines moddle to a point you couldn't step on them, would it work? Same with the range for the gas?
the mines are pressure sensor if you step near it BOOM!, doesnt matter if u change the model,, it will still explode
