the witcher 3 . you maybe can't maxed out everything
Would 700w be necessary? I used a wattage calculator and apparently 600w should be enough for my intended setup. Although if it isn't I'll start looking at 700w or more.
What if I already bought and installed it? :3 . I've had it for a couple months now and it's working quite well but if it does start to slow down, which would you recommend?

Madness is rare in individuals - but in groups, parties, nations, and ages, it is the rule.

I said HIGH, not ultra. Learn to read.
Stick your current power supply. The GTX 960 uses the maxwell architecture meaning that the GPU will be power efficient. Even if you SLI GTX 960s I highly doubt you'll require a higher wattage power supply. If you were running AMD gpus like an R9 290X THEN i'd say get a bigger power supply.
I also have a samsung 850 EVO ssd and so far I haven't run into any problems.
Some people are just talking out of their ass.

More than overkill for League, not for Witcher 3. That's a nice rig you're gonna end up with :P

To be snug? LOL explain this to me this will be fucking hilarious.
How much does the GTX 960 and the the 4690K use at peak load? 300Watts? Maybe 350Watts together? Yeh that's what I thought. The rest can be left for the memory/motherboard/hard drive/fans. Nvidia even put on their website 400W is what you'll need if you by a regular GTX 960. Maybe if this person was running like 12 fans and a custom loop. I don't get why someone should drop like 50-70 more dollars for another power supply they wouldn't need.
Tell me oh wise master why you would even remotely need more than 600 watts for a mid range pc like this one.

The Core i5-4690k Will probably reach somewhere around 180Watts fully overclocked and pretty much all the GTX 960s in the market max out at around 130Watts. Together that comes out to 310W~.
Tell me how you got 500 watts. I'd like to see where this happens. Where the i5-4690K and a single GTX 960 TOGETHER reach 500 watts before the motherboard/RAM/hard drive/fans/etc.
If you don't have these facts then I wont believe shit.
