Just saying, I'm not sure people will go first for someone who is brand new nor will bother for an OMM over one item.

I guess not, but we all have to start somewhere. I'm guessing I'll be getting offers when people need items quickly and other sellers are not online. And while I will do single item trades, OMM might be more reasonable for bulk purchases.
