How to begin with own scripts ?

I want to start with programming. Cause i have a lot of time..Im really interested in I.T. since I have built my computer. Well, i just want to try make some menu with some functions... What program should I use ? Or how can I begin with modding ? Thanks for your advices !

This isn't something your going to learn over the weekend. It takes years to learn what your doing and doing it right.

Also you'll need to think of what language of code you want to learn.

You have to learn first a coding language, gta v got mods for script hooks like LUA and .net
It will take years to learn it .. try first easier languages like Ruby you can learn it from HERE AND HERE

Technically it doesn't take years. It could take someone with a strong work ethic, quick learning skills, and dedication a couple of months with the enormous amounts of resources available.
