Half-Life 3 is either going to be canceled, or terrible.
There's a reason why everyone loved half life 2 and the first installment, they revolutionized gameplay and graphics, except for 2, which didn't bring about much interesting gameplay. People bought computers just so they could play hl2, it's like crysis in 2007. Valve has shown that they have no interest in making games, as they'd rather sell other people's games (steam), and release other people's content (workshop).

If half life 3 does come out, it'll be terrible. People have spent years building it up its hype, so it will no where near the high expectations people have for it.

Sometimes I really do wonders, why be hyped over something which isn't even announced, nor they even had a discussion to do so, it's like there's something what Valve and Gabe himself hate about NR3, it'd be amazing to see sequels to many Valve's games, one of them being Left 4 Dead 3 and Portal 3
