Amazon already profits from giving their workers minimum wage for more work than most people could do in 8 hours per day 5 days a week. So i'd say it'd take a while before Amazon changes their refund policy and all that jazz

They do not pay their workers minimum wage, the workers atleast at the warehouse start out at around $12 a hour

Feel guilty, or don't. Your parents are just looking out for you, and it seems that they care more about the fact that you could sit in a cell clanking a tin cup than the fact that the act of stealing is wrong.

You can't get around the fact that it is your fault. But if you are using SE skills to refund them; it is also Amazon's fault for falling for it. But at the same time it's not the "end of the world" if you do it so often.
