Overheats at anything over 50% brightness
Playing games makes it get really hot after 20-30 minutes
Android L sucks the battery out of it really fast
Camera is great when it's not night or zooming in
Screen is great
Sometimes unresponsive on the bottom strip
Holding fingers sometimes touch the edge of the bezel and screw up games/apps interaction
Looks aren't worth the trouble IMO (I don't use my phone that much)

It's not bad. It just not "great." I hate the LG flavor android too.

I've had better $50 phones, but mostly its based around my complaint of the battery life with the screen turned on, feels like it'll only last an hour or two with brightness at 30%. I heard if you root it, it will actually keep the battery like it should, just can't be arsed to do it.

I'm not a heavy phone user, so I rather not have to mess with my phone... I kinda feel like for minimal time consumption iphones are better.

I personally own it, and I think it's pretty good. Overheating is a huge problem, but it doesn't get too hot as my old iPhone did, so there's that going for me. However, some of the stuff is super confusing and laid out terribly, just like the settings menu (can be changed), and it takes a bit to get "used" to the layout. Everything else is OK, I guess.
Just like arun said, battery craps the fuck out but I can go through a day with around 4-5% left with moderate usage.

i do have to admit lolipop fucks the battery life but the lg g4 is running it pretty well also only has a 6 core processor rather than 8 so the battery drain isnt as hard as the gs6 but i bought a 2nd battery for like $35 and i have enough power for 2 days with them.

LG G3 was the flagship of last year competing against the HTC One M8 which I personally own right now. It's "upgrade", the LG G4, is nowhere near as good or notorious as the LG G3. Think of it this way: The LG G3 was one of the first phones to publicly release using the snapdragon processor (the 808? not sure) (if I'm correct) and now, the LG G4, ranks below 3 (I think 4-6) in the flagships today, below the S6 and the Apple iPhone 6 (which came out before the G4)!

LG G3 is a better phone than the G4 in comparison to the flagships today and when it was released. I would honestly get the G3 because upgrading to the G4 is almost nonsense - a better camera and a leather back? Give me a break. More bang for your buck.
