Patcher Error Please Help

When i try to run crossfire this error comes up.

Alright! That error is very common when you try running patcher_cf. Drag your crossfire to your desktop, and then try running it! If that doesn't work, try running it as an administrator, OR try uninstalling, and re-installing Crossfire.

i've tried all that and none of it works, i've uninstalled deleted all the folders aswell used CC cleaner and reinstalled but still nothing.
i've moved it around my comp but still no change

Go into your Cross Fire Folder, which is normally located in C:\Program Files\Z8Games\Crossfire .
Find your version.ini and open it up.
It should look something like this:

LatestVersion = 1102
MinimalVersion= 1077
OwnVersion = 5

[DOWNLOAD]
server1 = https://cfpatch.z8games.com/download/

[SERVER]
COUNT = 1
IP1 =74.200.6.133
PORT1 =13008

If it doesn't work right click on it , go to properties and tick read only .

None of all that has worked :/ my version.ini is completely empty and so i copied what Takari had posted into it but it still didn't do anything, i made it read only aswell but it still didn't do anything. i've disabled everything aswell but it still doesn't work.

I'm quite good at solving CF errors myself but this one has stumped me.

Yes i always run everything as admin but its not changing anything :/

What about uninstalling and redownload the client from z8games

yeah i done that, i uninstalled it, deleted all the folders, then deleted history and cookies and then used CC Cleaner. And downloaded the lastest CF from Z8 games but it still doesn't work :S
