Need Wood Fast?

Today Im bringing you a little pro-tip by your all-mighty Minecraft master. /me

Have you ever wished that your trees would grow a little faster? Tired of sitting around waiting for farms to grow? Well fear not because I have a solution for you!

Things you will need:
Saplings
Bones

You will only need one of each for this, but the more you have, the more wood you will get.

To get bones, just kill some skeletons at night time, or just find a high place to camp until morning and they all burn. This is where we get started.

So first get your materials. Just get some saplings, and a bone or two (There was a bunch sitting in my mob farm which is why i have 11)




After you have gathered the necessary resources, lets make some Bone Meal. To do this, simply take a bone, and place it into your crafting area:




Now that we have that, lets go on ahead and plant our sapling.

Make sure you plant it in an area that trees can actually grow. This method is not going to miraculously make trees grow through walls and other trees.



So now that our sapling is planted here comes the fun part. Get your bone meal ready:


And then all you need to do is right click on your little saplings, and BOOM! Instant tree:



If for some reason it does not work, either your sapling is an area that it cant grow in, or you may have to try again. Planting your saplings in rain forest biomes has a higher chance of making big branched trees, meaning that for one sapling, and 1/3 of a bone, you could potentially get 10+ logs, which means 40+ wood planks. In just a fraction of the time too.

Figured I may as well add:
This works on crops as well. I used wood as an example, but bone meal will insta-grow crops as well. But the Input work:Output isnt that great.

How is bone meal hard? Just get a stack of like 10 blocks of dirt, build a tower and sit on it through the night when the difficulty is on anything above easy. Skeletons will spawn, and then burn i the morning, dropping bones.

No need for a Vid, and @Heartview it is still a pain in the ass to get Bone meal, why waste time making a tower when you can just find wood twice as fast?

Starting to think I should have written this with crops instead of trees because apparently the concept of doing something faster and more efficiently is soaring over peoples heads.

It is NOT hard to pick up 8 pieces of dirt and stack them up and stand in one spot for the night. You will pick up at least 4 bones in the morning, which will equal in the end around 80 wood planks.

Bone meal is just a hassle. this is a great tutoirla im just saying i think find trees = win.
