  1. Yes, I busted a nut over it.
  2. Have you seen the new Samsung EVO ssd? :0
  3. Since you're a graphics designer thingy mabob, I might aswell ask you if you would be able to make a simple af logo for my mum's shop LOL
ATM she's got a stock logo from vista print -.- I didn't know this until a couple of weeks ago!
Only if you're interested and hey, it'd be pretty cool having a logo you made on business cards and the website and shiet
    Just asking
  4. Yeah, Imma get the HIS
  5. The 7870 is definitely better than the 7850. Worth the increase in price. You'll barely notice the PCB anyway.
  6. What about the 7850? The ASUS Radeon HD7850 DirectCU II Top Edition?
I'm thinking about looks here too, I'd prefer but don't necessarily need a black PCB board, is the 7870 definitely worth going for over the 7850?
  7. Probably the 7870 still.
  8. actually*
    /msg2short
  9. I'd say get the HIS. For the price of the gigabyte you might as well get a 7950.

  11. acutally, what would be the best gpu for $270 or less?
  12. Which one would be the best to get? it would probably be between the HIS and Gigabyte considering the core clock?
  13. Even better! You will not be disappointed with that build.
  14. fuck yeahh! ;D I have an ssd going into it too
  15. It's badass, that's what I think.
  16. What do you think about this?
  17. IOPS isn't very crucial for anything other than database building, it won't really affect any desktop applications. But double check if it's in AHCI in the bios.

    Run an AS SSD benchmark

    Download AS SSD benchmark 1.7.4739 - FileHippo.com

Open up cmd as administrator then run SFC /scannow It will check for corrupt OS files and fix them.
Also try installing the latest Intel RST drivers. Then run the AS SSD benchmark again.

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...adType=Drivers

If that doesn't do anything try a different SATA cable and power cable, sometimes a bad connection may allow it to work but once the power cuts off it will cause the system to hang.

Other than that I'm not sure what could be happening. If the SSD is filled up that would cause it to slow down, but it should be hassle free on a fresh build.
  18. it tends to freeze everything when it writes
  19. 990FX Extreme3
  20. You'll only get high IOPS speed with SATA 3 + AHCI. What's the model of your motherboard?
  21. Ok, actually I do need your help
Wtf is going on here? I just did this benchmark and I'm not sure why the random write and read is so low?

I installed w7 on it a couple of days ago but it sometimes just freezes and then goes normal again?
  22. Wait, nevermind
I have the latest fw -.-
  23. I need cho help, I downloaded the firmware update for my ssd from samsung here >Support - Solid State Drives MZ-7TD120 | Samsung Memory & Storage
But how do I install it? O.o
there's no instructions or anything, just two '.enc' files
would I have to do it from BIOS orrrrrr
  24. Why thank you.
  25. That's a nice ass tumblr you've got there
