Also, make sure you run as admin.
You should open the game, put it in windowed mode, (Configure/Video/User Interface/Resolution/Windowed) and THEN open darky. Try this, and if it does not work, leave your version number and I'll see if I can find a solution. (Here's a video I made to help you, if the executor doesn't crash your game again; )
