I edited the file so there is a Member (default) Builder, Moderator, Admin and Owner groups
I would also recommend getting the plugin SetRank so you can modify groups ingame

Hey joebob i did all of this and when i started my server it says something along the lines of cant connect to permissions and offing permissions or something. I really dont know. Can you send me a link of permissions with a default, Builder, Moderator, Admin groups and i will edit it as i go. Thanks

This is the whole permissions folder (stock)
It's a good idea to set it up yourself as doing so makes it easier for you to change and modify.

Here is a wonderful tutorial on how to use it. This is very easy to learn.


There is also a tutorial on how to make groups and such.

Hey Joebob i finnaly setup my server, now i need help settng up permissions and useful plugins for my server. I really dont know how to install permissions but it seems really nice but its confusing. Can you send me a link to a permissions.jar with like Builder/Moderator/Admin or something like that so i can add it to my server. If you can do this ill forever be in your debt (in minecraft). I really want to add permissions to my server but it is sooo confusing. I could appreciate any help i can get. Thanks

But then it fucks up my internet, and my ps3 wifi doesnt work.

So just make your ip static that way it doesnt change and you dont have to change ur ip on the router ports, and server properties

Yea the thing is i have a dynamic ip instead of a static and it constantly changes.

Check if your external or internal ip changed. And make sure r-con isn't on

i wanna set up a server for minecraft but i dont know what bukkit or any of the othe things are. I bought minecraft yesterday and i played singleplayer and made a heeps good town and i want to put this town on my multiplayer server. Is there anyway possible to do so? If you can help me ill make you a mod once i find out how. I wanna make it so other people can help and rate my town/city and yea.. So i hope you can help me
