But DB admins do get paid pretty well on the civilian side, so that kind of makes up for it. Once I have my bachelors degree off of tuition assistance, I'm out.

I'm a 3D0X4. Computer Systems Programmer.

Current doing what is called "Upgrade Training". Complicated. When I finish that in ~4 months I will be a Database Developer. Anything in the actual database, or any part of the program I'm assigned to that would access the database is will be my job. Oracle's SQL language for the DB, Java for the actual application.
