I'll use Snow Valley as my example...some of the fog on snow valley is client fx. Also, the planes in the beginning of every match are client fx. I have to add into the game engine those effects via the title of them in ClientFX into CShell to get the game to recognize the effect

no because when is the custom game engine gonna call the new fx? i gotta code in every single effect before the engine recognizes it

recreate clientfx from the ground up, even in the CShell source, which is why we need a coder XD
