    Memorizing what you can is very important in any language.
    a variable in general is a location in a computer's memory and a program that can read or write to this memory. You will allocate the computer's memory for use by a variable when you declare it.

    Each of the memory types have it's own uses, Char for Each variable type that has it's own predefined memory usage. WCHAR is a 16-bit Unicode character and so on.

    So to answer your question, you use them for memory editing.


    But, I must let you know, that is basic programming knowledge, My C++ is limited, I know enough about the syntax and structure to use it if I need to, but one of my 3 least favorite.
