Yup, that should work. Just make sure you don't have any other mini pcie cards, cause the 2nd slot is covered by the gfx card

I would save a bit on the CPU, pay a bit more for the ram and get a wifi card. And yeah, you could do that but TV != monitor. That's why I always say that you should either get a gaming monitor, a work monitor or nothing at all. Every hybrid / quasi-gaming-quality screen is just shit

video card = gfx card = sometimes called the gpu (though technically the gpu is just the "cpu" of the gfx card). As I said, I would go for the 6950 to save some money, imo it's not worth getting the 6970.

Go for another CPU, imo you're probably never gonna put the 2500/2600 under max load, let alone and OCed 2600k (your call, if you want to get into a bit of OCing it would be good to have at least the 2600, if you really have the money go for the 2600k). Get some better ram if possible, get the 6950 to save (it's not really worth getting th 6970 imo, the 6950 can nearly match its performance).

@monitor: you prolly want a gaming one?

And yeah, you'll need a wi-fi card, as far as speakers go either get good ones or stick to headphones.

I wouldn't get it, that doesn't justify the price. Crappy ram, random mobo, old gen cards, crappy SSD + you even have to pay for Windows. Stay away from that
