How to reset your rank to Lv.1

I know a tutorial as this has been posted before but I still see people starting topics asking for a tutorial of how to reset your rank to Lv.1 No prestige.

EDIT: Some information about ranks;
The highest rank will save so if your are like Lv.30 and hack to Lv.70, Lv.70 will save.
If you are like Lv. 56 and hack to Lv. 34, It won't save as Lv.34, it will stay saved as Lv. 56 because the highest rank will save.
So if you want a lower rank; you can use this tutorial to reset your rank and hack to the Lv. you want.

This tutorial will reset everything so your titles, emblems, weapons, attachments, accolades, challenges and rank of course will be reset.

Well, here is my tutorial:

Do this when MW2 is NOT launched.

1. Go to:
C/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ModernWarfare2/players
and delete all .STAT files.
2. Then go to:
C/Program Files/Steam/Userdata/Some numbered folder/Some numbered folder/Remote
And delete the 2 files there
3. Then launch MW2 and play till you are lv.2 so it saves and you are done!

Don't forget to thank me!

but the weapons and all those unlocked things will be erased after downgrade ?

everything will be erased, weapons, skins, titles, ect

have you played till u went lv2. after the reset?

the reset didn't work when i started cod i was lvl 10th prestige again..

but is there any lvl hack i can use that saves gameplay and not put me into 10th prestige?

if you use a rankhack, the highest rank will save so if u was lv30 and u ranked up to 70 it will save as 70 but if u was like lv.70 and u hacked to lv40 or something it will stay as lv.70 because the highest will save

alright so let say i jsut wanna be lvl 70 do i have to make sure the time played matches?

just dont use a callsign that u get normally on prestige 4 lv56 or something

70 no prestige? Anything over 1 day should be good.

you know how many seconds a day is? xD

oh ur gonna use a time played hack;

60 = 1 min
600 = 10 min
3600 = 1 hour
86400 = 1 day

and say it will delete my titles and emblems?

wait nvm i saw u said everything will be erased..
