Net books are light and small. The more expensive ones with a 2.3 gHz Intel Atom processor are actually somewhat decent. The drawback is the scaled down keyboard size.

Actually each classroom / wireless access point has a limit so it's distributed quite evenly across the whole school. I get an average dl rate of about 2MB/s - 10MB/s on wireless depending on whether I'm on an empty access point or a very popular one /boh1 If you manage to physically get on the IT network you can easily leech at like 150MB/s+
And only a few kids in each classroom use laptops / netbooks, let alone have access to the internet (only teachers / dev team has access). Though some use teachers' logins to get on :dead:
