Sell it and get an ultraportable. Asus UL series owns (I have 2), getting an Acer TimelineX for school now (my school UL got scratched and it looks fugly). I can get around 6 hours of normal work without sacrificing brightness or connectivity /

Net books are light and small. The more expensive ones with a 2.3 gHz Intel Atom processor are actually somewhat decent. The drawback is the scaled down keyboard size.

I just have Office / Google Earth / Derive and some chemistry programs. And I like to see it all work without any lag /yea

Edit: running torrents in the background too, you gotta leech that epic internet your school offers

Considering the amount of people leeching, the school internet goes down the toilet.

Actually each classroom / wireless access point has a limit so it's distributed quite evenly across the whole school. I get an average dl rate of about 2MB/s - 10MB/s on wireless depending on whether I'm on an empty access point or a very popular one / If you manage to physically get on the IT network you can easily leech at like 150MB/s+

And only a few kids in each classroom use laptops / netbooks, let alone have access to the internet (only teachers / dev team has access). Though some use teachers' logins to get on

It's not that. Most torrents i download have 200+ seeders.

I was trying to download a torrent of a 52 episode anime. The torrent was uploaded 4 years ago, i'd assume it was popular when uploaded.
