Start steam in offline mode AND the game within your steam library, go to properties > General > Launch options and type in "-insecure" (Minus the quotation marks)...

But it is registered through the steam account, therefore if you get fair fight'ed and perm banned it can carry to the end users account can it not?

No matter how good your injector/trainer is, there is always a 50/50 chance of bans. Just Cackarc are a load of poppycock for patching.
