First rule: Did you get it from a youtube video?
If so, it's probably fake and you should NOT use it.
Hello.
So I downloaded this hack tool for an android game to help me cheat but I am unsure if I should use it. I'm not very knowledgeable about malware so I need some help and advice.
A while back, I've seen links to file checkers to help people check for any malicous coding in files they've downloaded. I have no clue where to find the links anymore. It's been over a year since I've last seen it. If someone could provide the links, it would be appreciated.
Back to the main issue. The hack tool is an .exe file for a game called Kritika: Chaos Unleashed. I have scanned it with Malwarebytes and AVG. Nothing has turned up. However, I am still afraid to use it. I don't know what else this file can do to me: such as stealing my information from the PC it's running on or stealing information from the phone that's supposed to be connected to it in order to make the cheat work. It can give me gems and cash in-game. Both of these currencies are obtainable within the game without spending real money.
Should I avoid using it?
Also. Could someone point me to a thread that can teach me how to find static addresses while using SBTools Game Hacker for android (or just how to do it in general)? I don't know the proper keywords/jargon to search for so I can't find anything useful. I have been able to hack a few things in this game but I don't want to constantly search for values every single time.
Thanks.
Don't trust youtube videos that don't show the currencies in game; most likely fake.
