Shop Modding?

Is it possible to mod the shop instead of modding the weapons? I mean we can edit weapon textures and half edit weapon models but not the shop interface. Is it possible to edit the black market and that to have all the items have 0 costs? Or is the shop stuff server sided too?

yes, it can be moded, but that isn't the problem, the problem is that those price are server sided, we can mod then to say 0 GP, but it doesn't mean thats the real value.

We can change the way the shop looks, and how weapons looks in the shop, even the showed prices, but nothing else than the graphic view.

actually if you decompile engine.exe there is hex stings that control comninication with the server, edited and the server wont record it but we will have it in game, im working on it right now

yeah, with hex string it can be done, but not with modding =P

Instead of asking to test it, why not offer to help him?
Of course, you would need a goo understanding of C++ and a few other languages.

If you can do that, the possibilities are endless! It will be as great as the Exp/Gp rank up glitch/hack that was exploited when Combat Arms was started! Good luck with it though, as hex editing the thing will be a pain in the rear.

Yeah they would try to sue you even if you lived in antarctica lol. They would be so desprate to patch it. Then they would spend weeks doing a server maintenence to fix it only to realize it couldnt be fixed lol
