Can't crc map

I keep getting a error saying "Can't CRC map aim_ag_texture2", that's the main part of it. If someone could help me, that would be appreciated! Yes, i did try google, but they are all non-working methods, or they are on mac. Yes, i have already deleted the map and re-downloaded it from the server, still gives me the error

you have a different version of that map, delete it from your addons/gmod download folder and you should be grand

I'm gonna edit the post, but, the map isnt even in the steamapps folger for my gmod. i already deleted it.

Have you checked /download/maps and /addons and deleted everything in downloads\server?

I didnt want to touch downloads/server just incase something for a server, say, a server pack that took a while to donwload, was in there. But, i tried that. ill try joining the server now.
